We strive to improve the quality of life for those who have served and sacrificed for the safety and freedom of our nation, ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and comfort in their own homes.

Celebrating 25 Years of Service

In 2025, House of Heroes, Inc. proudly celebrates 25 years of honoring our nation’s heroes. Since our founding in 2000, we have repaired over 2,400 homes across 18 states valued at over $24,000,000. Thereby making a meaningful difference in the lives of military and public safety veterans, and their families.


This milestone anniversary is a time to reflect on our accomplishments and look ahead to the future. With over 300,000 volunteers and community partners, we’ve built a movement rooted in gratitude and service. As we embark on our next chapter, our goal is to expand our presence to more cities and states, ensuring even more heroes receive the support they need and deserve.

How You Can Be Involved

Volunteer

Make a direct impact by volunteering your time and skills. Volunteers perform tasks such as painting, yard work, building handicap ramps, and making minor home repairs. Whether you come as an individual, family, or group, your efforts will change lives.

Your Silver Anniversary sponsorship supports our mission in a tangible way. For example:

  • $250: Covers the cost of a Capitol-flown flag, materials, and lunch for volunteers.
  • $2500: Enables us to complete more extensive repairs and serve additional heroes.
  • $25,000: Enables House of Heroes to expand and meet the needs in additional communities and states.

House of Heroes, Inc. currently operates five major chapters nationwide and is continually seeking opportunities to grow. Chattahoochee Valley

The Chattahoochee Valley Chapter was the 1st Chapter to be developed by House of Heroes, Inc. in 2008. HOH-CVC serves the Chattahoochee Valley area in Muscogee County, Harris County and Chattahoochee County in Georgia. They also serve Russell and Lee Counties in Alabama.

Connecticut

The Connecticut Chapter located in Hamden, CT was founded in 2012 by Bill May and Steve Cavanaugh. Together, with the help of family and friends, HOHCT envisions an expansion of HOH nation-wide with the CT Chapter setting the standard for new chapter development.

Middle Georgia

HOH Middle Georgia Chapter officially began January 01, 2017. The official formation of the House of Heroes, Middle Georgia Chapter occurred December, 2016 when interested people met to hear the HOH story and voted unanimously to form The Middle Georgia Chapter.

South Georgia

House of Heroes South Georgia Chapter was Launched in 2012 by Wayne Anthony serving the Valdosta, Georgia Community.

Washington County, Iowa

When House of Heroes was founded, Wayne Anthony had asked Russ Parker to be the first Affiliate Chapter. In 2008, Russ Parker brought House of Heroes from Columbus, Georgia all the way out to Washington, Iowa. We are thrilled to be a part of this national organization, supported by the Congress of the United States.
